  2.     *** Amskart WorkBench 2 Pictures Release #1 - January 29, 1993 ***
  3.  
  4.    The Pictures on this disk were drawn for the benefit of all Amiga
  5.  WorkBench 2 users. They range from cartoons to rendered Pictures.
  6.  
  7. NOTE:   You require NickPrefs to display the files on your screen.
  8.         I have included it in this first release for those of you who
  9.         don't have it. Later WBPic releases will not carry NickPrefs.
  10.  
  11.    All these pictures are in Hi-Res Interlaced format. Some are in the PAL
  12.  standard while others are in NTSC. If a picture file is NTSC it can be used
  13.  on a PAL machine. A PAL file may be used on an NTSC screen but some of the
  14.  picture may be lost. You must be aware that I am using a PAL machine and as
  15.  such all files WILL be in PAL format, only a hand ful will be in NTSC. I am
  16.  assuming you have some type of graphics program to scale the Image to your
  17.  machine type. After all, this is the Amiga, If you haven't got a graphics
  18.  package then go get one, NOW!!!
  19.  
  20.    Each file has it's own palette. Most of the cartoon pictures use a
  21.  standard palette taken from MY WorkBench. All palettes, custom or standard
  22.  retain the WB2 grey color scheme for its windows, although my palette uses
  23.  a slightly dimmer grey and brighter blue.
  24.    The standard palette is in the current drawer and name Std.Palette.ilbm.
  25.  The custom palettes for the altered pictures are named so as to correspond
  26.  with the file they are for. (See file list below). They have an "Altered"
  27.  placed to the right to indicate that there is an original, unaltered file
  28.  available for viewing. To use the palettes, copy the specific one to
  29.  "envarc:sys/" and rename it to "palette.ilbm".
  30.

  32.  address below. If I get enough requests, I'll upload them to some ftp sites.

  63.  screen, then send it along to me (with a specific palette if necessary)
  64.  and I would be glad to convert it to a WB screen for you. If you like, I
  65.  will include them in future releases, along with a text file stating who
  66.  the file was sent by and other features.
